Why We Play The Game By Boomer Esiason Our All Star game is a celebration of the accomplishments of all parties involved. We are able to give back to those who have given so much to us. High school coaches are truly "makers of men." They inspire, educate and transform our youth at a very critical point in their lives. They are sometimes taken for granted and are under appreciated. Through our game we are able to celebrate the accomplishments of football players and their dedication to the sport they love. The environment and experiences associated with our game are unparalleled and unique. Our kids and community also benefit from our hard work. The Outback Steakhouse Empire Challenge has also helped further my personal cause with cystic fibrosis. This game has helped heighten awareness and raise significant dollars in the fight for a cure. To all involved, I would like to give my sincere thanks for helping my family's crusade to end this disease. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our children.
