George Hassell Curtis 6'2"/195 lbs. Quarterback New York City Player of the Year It is very rare that a freshman football player will start his high school experience as captain of the varsity team! However, George started every game since his first day of training camp in 1996. He led the Warriors into the semifinals in his freshman year, the championship his sophomore year and winning back to back titles his junior and senior years. His grand finale of a season was nothing short of remarkable. He passed for nearly 1,900 yards, 16 TD's and had just five interceptions. He has won a host of city honors including being selected a Junior Heisman by MSG and the Downtown Athletic Club and Player of the Year honors by the New York Daily News and New York City Newsday. He will take his poise and wizardry to Delaware State in the fall.
